The Shooting School is situated on the South West coast of the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, in the county of Gwynedd.

Unless sailing across the Irish Sea, you have little option but to head for the West! So, travelling from North, South or from the East; head for the town of PWLLHELI. Leaving Pwllheli, drive West on the A499 toward Llanbedrog and Abersoch.

After four miles you will enter Llanbedrog, (service station on your left) drive up the hill and turn right on to the B4413 signposted Aberdaron.

After approximately 500 yards look out for a cottage on your left whose gable end seems to stick out into the road; there is a right turn opposite, take this turn.

(If you pass “THE SHIP” public house on your left you have passed by the right hand turn that you should have made.)

Drive on and out into the countryside and in no more than 400 yards you will find the entrance to the Shooting School on your right. There is a sign at the gate bearing the name “WERN NEWYDD”.
